This blog is not really photography-related but adventure and peaceful-nature related.   My “happy place” has always been Estes Park, Colorado.  Listening to the sounds of the Big Thompson River is incredibly peaceful to me.   My parents used to bring our family here camping all the time when I was young and I brought my kids here when they were young.  Jay and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary in Estes Park a few days ago and wow what a gorgeous place to relax and rejuvenate together!!   The cabin we found (honestly, the cabin that God led us to) was at “Paradise on the River”.    https://paradiservcolorado.com/

If you are ever looking for a campground to stay at in Estes Park, Colorado, at the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, we highly recommend Paradise on the River!  The cabin we stayed in was called “Pine Creek” and it had a full size bed, sofa sleeper, full kitchen & fridge, full bath and so many cute and romantic amenities!  The deck overlooks the river and you can relax and listen to the beautiful sound of the rushing river.   Jay spent hours on the cabin deck overlooking the river with his fishing pole and a desire to eat trout for dinner!!  I loved seeing him so excited and relaxed at the same time.  We could even see elk & deer on the river bend.
